The vessel will end to function as the liner in November of the next year. According to some information, its new owner Dubai World is going to alter the ship from within in a comfortable hotel with entertainments and shops, and also to leave a place for a museum to reconstruct there the history of the well-known ship.
Let’s remind, that cruise liner Queen Elizabeth II, with its length in 951,44 ft and width 114,83 ft, was constructed on John Brauna’s shipyard in Scotland. The vessel can place 1778 passengers, and 1000 crew members.

The unknown millionaire has bought the biggest Airbus


The unknown buyer has made the order for Airbus company for purchase of the largest air liner in world A-380 Superjumbo to use it as a private plane.
This is informed by AFP referring to representatives of the company.
Airbus representatives informed only, that the buyer is “not from Europe or the USA”. To adjust the plane according to all demands of the customer they will need almost a year.
Length of A-380 is almost 239,50 feet. It can transport 840 people. Its catalogue price makes 319 million dollars.
Airbus faced difficulties which have led to the crisis of the company. Problems were connected with frequent delays of A-380 deliveries. It became the reason of re-structuring of the company, and the decision of the management to lower costs due to reduction of the staff has caused strikes at Airbus enterprises throughout the whole Europe.
