Economy of the happiness, or the price of a careless life (Part 2)

If to consider only well-to-do people, it becomes clear: the big money, giving a lot of opportunities, are able to make people happier. Let it be, 100 thousands pounds of available assets. By such criterion experts of Economist Intelligence Unit selected their respondents. Results of the British research are eloquent: 80 % of women and 78 % of the men with such level of the income have recognized that money has made them happier.
But not everything is so simple, in fact 20 percent of the well-to-do people all the same answered in another way. Researches state that feeling of happiness also implies cultural values. They do perception of happiness unique for different peoples.
It is impossible to forget about non-material values which, at first sight, are very close for almost all people. The confidence in the future, political freedoms and social guarantees, freedom of choice, an educational level, and an opportunity to trust people are necessary for happiness. In each country freedom of choice, level of prosperity, social protectability is estimated in view of unique features of the culture and the history. That for an Englishman is hopelessness, for the Chinese - hope for thebright future.
And each has his or her own happiness. Not only sociologists but psychologists already speak about it. That is why scientists can only state the numbers.
