The edition is limited to 48 copies, 12 copies for each season: yellow, white and red gold, and also platinum. The smart mechanism displays hours, minutes, days of week and date on rotating disks in four small windows. In the center of a dial - manually engraved gold image of Apollo on a chariot with four horses; all the rest space is the enamel miniature in grand feu and champleve techniques, reflecting the mood and colors of the corresponding season.
The novelty of this year: Vacheron Constantin Metiers d’Art Masques. Vacheron Constantin painters were inspired by the exhibit of Geneva-based largest Primitive art museum Barbier-Mueller Museum. Designers placed in the center of a dial tiny copies of tribal masks from the various countries of the world. Primitive art is in fashion now, ritual masks are sold for the record prices in €6 million, and Vacheron Constantin has offered rather unexpected solution. These edition will include only 25 collection sets consisting of 4 watches everyone, with different masks and in different 1,5 in cases: white gold - a mask from Alaska, pink gold - Indonesia, yellow gold - China, platinum - Congo.
