Continuing a sweet theme we shall note, that Swarovski is only half-trouble. How can you eat a pie covered with the true brilliants? Megalomania or just simple art? Anyhow, the pie can be bought… for $20 millions.
It is indicative that many luxury-designers do not think much over new forms, and act much easier. The safe recipe of a ultra-expensive thing: to take a usual trifle and cover it with brilliants. Buyers stand in a queue.
In general, it is easier to tell about things which have escaped the diamond fever. However we will name only the silliest precious accessories. It is interesting, who will buy the most expensive in the world mascara and shine for eyelashes for 14 million dollars created by experts of H. Couture Beauty. Mascara is decorated with 2500 precious blue gems, and tube for shine with 1200 pink to “girls’ best friends”. Bottles are made from 18-carat gold.
The diamond fever has affected motorists as well. Specially for the most glamour street-racers American company Asanti created wheel disks enchased with 26 thousands of brilliants and 1200 rubies.
A bottle of Diva vodka, filtered through a diamantine, costs one million dollars.
Visiting cards from Mitsubishi Materials Corp are made from gold of 999-th standard. According to the authors of a novelty, these cards have the standard size, therefore can be easily placed in special small case for business card, and weight - less than 0,0353 oz each. According to some information, cost of one such visiting card is about 85 dollars.
