Watches as a work of art: sport watches Audemars Piguet and Chopard

Audemars Piguet has recently presented the limited series of well-known Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph. The chronographs from the white gold will be produced in 96 copies, from steel - in amount of 960 copies; means from the sale (about 3 million dollars) will go to the charitable fund. The model has the massive watch-case of 1,8898 in in diameter with the new automatic mechanism. Calibre 3126/3840, the copy of the white gold is decorated with 32 brilliants. The big watches for the big people: orders are accepted, deliveries are expected by the end of 2007.

In conversation about sports watches we should mention well-known Chopard collection - Happy Sport. These graceful female watches are remarkable for the unique feature - between the sapphire glass and a watch dial there as if freely float large brilliants. Perhaps, for the rest on a beach Happy Beach watch with swimming under a dial fish and dolphins will suit in the best way, and these watches will be perfectly looked in an environment of exotic tropical fishes. But you should remember that these watches can be viewed as sports ones conditionally: small water resistance in 98,43 ft will not allow to make deep immersing, but for swimming with a mask on a shoal they will suit.
