The oldest vehicle in the world will be sold by auction for $2 millions


Four-wheel vehicles have excited silent streets of XIX century Europe. Many people think, that Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motors, was the first to create automobile. And only a few know the truth. The very first automobile is De Dion-Bouton et Trepardoux, constructed in France in 1884.
That sum, for which it is going to be sold by auction, does not cost today any new automobile.
Steam working De Dion-Bouton et Trepardoux nicknamed La Marquise was constructed the year before Gottlieb Daimler and Charles Bents Karl Benz constructed the first experimental gas automobiles in Germany. And the well-known Henry Ford began production of his car 12 years later.
According to the information of the auction house Gooding & Company, from the moment of the birth “Marquis” had only two owners. The maximal speed of the automobile is equal to 37,90 mph, and on the fuel as coal, tree or paper, it can run without break half an hour.
The surprising vehicle will be sold by auction Pebbl Beach, California, on August, 19. According to experts, the lowest price for this unique vehicle can make $1,5 million, but it can be risen up with ease to $2 millions.
