The history of the brand begins as the real fairy tale - with magnificent wedding of Astel Arpels, the daughter of the jewels dealer with Alfred Van Cleef, the son of diamonds dealer from Amsterdam.
At the beginning of the XX century, in the brilliant time of the technical development and arts prosperity, the attire of a solvent woman was not completed without an impressive set of jewelry. It is quite natural, that Alfred Van Cleef united with the brothers-in-law.
