Ice-cream in an American way: Vanilla ice-cream with a cherry for $1 million

Recently it became habitual to cover the most usual things with gold, to decorate with brilliants and other jewels, and then to sell them under a mad price. However similar outbursts usually go with the purpose to receive more money. Other business is to collect with the help of a magnificent trifle money for charity, as, for example, made Bruster’s Ice Cream company, which has displayed for a sale ice-cream for $1 million.
Such high price on the ice-cream turned out as a result of replacement of all necessary components of a refreshment by precious metals and gems. Company Bruster’s Ice Cream has entrusted its exclusive ice-cream to well-known American jewelry company Lazare Kaplan which has successfully created a brilliant copy of the most known ice-cream - «vanilla horn with a cherry».
Jewelers have replaced a usual wafer with 20,0003 oz of yellow and white 18-carat gold, vanilla ice-cream - with 548 Lazare brilliants and 87 brilliants of an emerald facet, the horn itself was decorated with a huge yellow 5,63 carat brilliant.
All money obtained from the sale will go to Big Brothers & Big Sisters charitable children’s fund.
