Roman Abramovich decided to purchase a plot on the coast of Mediterranean sea which is considered one of the most beautiful and ecologically clean places.
According to the press information, Abramovich is going to get in Montenegro a 13-kilometer beach near to the seaside Ulzin city, which received the nickname Velika Plaza (the Big beach) to transform it into a magnificent resort - “new Dubai”. Now the most part of the Velika Plaza beach belongs to the state and will be privatized during the open auction the next month.
Main Abramovich`s competitors are groups of oil tycoons - Arabian sheikhs and large Hungarian builder Trigranit, which has already offered to invest almost $4 billion. To get an advantage, Abramovich`s representatives started to buy secretly plots and private houses along the coast nearby to Ulzin the month prior to the sale.
At present time Roman Abramovich already owns several private residences worldwide, a flotilla of luxury class yachts and the football club. Today his fortune is estimated in 10,8 billion pounds.
