The world’s most expensive casinos

The most expensive casino ever built is one created by Billionaire Steve Wynn, who spent US$2.7 billion on his Wynn Las Vegas, which opened in April, 2005. Though it does not seem that this one will held this title for a long time.
The Las Vegas Sands Corp, MGM Mirage and three other best bidders are engaged in the competition to build Singapore’s first casino resort in the city-state that according to Merrill Lunch’s estimates will cost US$3 billion.
Not long ago it was announced that the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas will be replaced by a $4-Billion hotel-casino-shopping complex preliminarily called as Echelon Place. In first half of 2007, the Stardust will be pulled down and construction of Echelon Place will begin. The opening of a new Complex is planned for 2010.
MGM Mirage is going to build a $5-billion CityCenter complex that would include hotels, a casino, stores and joint properties.
