The most magnificent hotels of Sri Lanka under WTM version


WTM (World Travel Market) has published the list of the most magnificent hotels of Sri Lanka. Ceylon Tea Trails, located on an operating tea plantation of known firm Dilmah in valley Bogawantalawa, has appeared on the first place.
Ceylon Tea Trails visitors are offered four completely restored colonial bungalows of XIX century, in each of which it is possible to take advantage of services of the personal cooker, butler and servants. Lodgers can also observe gathering and the subsequent preparation of tea leaves, enjoy rafting, to drink some tea in English rosaries or order in number of spa-procedure. Cost of accommodation start from $286 for night.
The second place has been given to the ecohotel Vil Uyana, which has 25 magnificent country houses in Maldives style: they are located on boggy rice fields, where it is possible to see crocodiles, otters and other wild animals. Country houses are completely equipped with all necessary: lodgers can order meal from restaurant, wellness-procedures or to swim in personal pool. Cost of accommodation starts from $510 for a night.
The third place has been given to the hotel Amangalla, which is located in city Galle, beside with an ancient Dutch fort: the lodgers are offered magnificent room-numbers in colonial style, pool, gardens and huge spa-center. The price starts from $254 for a night. The fourth place is occupied with lux-camping Luxury Tented Safaris (the price is on the inquiry) and the fifth place has been given to the hotel Fortress (from $320 for a night).
