War to luxury-fakes: Luxury will be sold out in the street


Cheap fakes - is a real scourge of the luxury-industry. Despite of huge popularity and high profits of the well-known brands, the size of losses, which they bear from fake-masters’ activity, reaches inconceivable heights. The unprecedented method of war with fakes was thought up with the most forged mark in the world - Louis Vuitton.
One of these days, during opening of the known Japanese artist Takashi Murakami’s exhibition, the management of the French brand has made the official application concerning new campaign against counterfeit production. Campaign shows absolutely alternative method of war with “enemies”: Louis Vuitton is measured to press street dealers of cheap bags with a trade mark LV and to start own street sales of the genius accessories.
“Native” Louis Vuitton handbags can be found on street counters near to Brooklyn Museum in New York, where simultaneously with exhibition boutique of the well-known mark will be opened. Specially employed staff will come on sidewalks of “the big apple” with original handbags and will sell them for 100 or 200 dollars, as swindlers do it.
Unique campaign will be prolonged up to the end of exhibition. During this time admirers of mark can get bags from new Louis Vuitton’s collection with the color bright prints, to buy the liked leather accessories, and also to choose the liked things from 300 subjects of new Monogramouflage collection into which bags for luggage, ladies’ handbags, ornaments and a line of ready-to-wear clothes have entered. All things from Monogramouflage will go on sale in Vuitton boutiques only since June, 15th, so New York citizens and visitors have a big stimulus to hurry to buy luxury handbag “from hands”.
