The Israeli diamond billionaire has bought the most expensive Britain’s new building work

The house in Hampstead in northwest of London, bought by the Israeli diamond billionaire Lev Levarv, became the most expensive new building ever sold in Great Britain, informs Daily Mail. The private residence designed by architect William Bertram, is called Palladio in honor of the Italian architect of the XVI century considered as the ancestor of classicism in architecture.

For a mansion with seven bedrooms Levaev has paid 35 million pounds sterling (more than 70 million dollars). The unprecedented sum for a house-new building has been paid by Levaev reasonably – according to the experts, the house will stand for 300 years the least.

The house is equipped with the most up-to-date equipment. The common room can be transformed into a cinema hall by one pressing of the button, and pool - in a dancing hall. All systems - infra-red cameras, illumination, music, electronic doors, heating and conditioners – are controlled distantly, “even from a yacht in the Caribbean Sea”.
