On the verge of madness or how to eat an untold wealth. The most expensive caviar, mushroom and potato.

The most expensive caviar in the world – is not black one. And even not rare grey caviar. The most expensive is the caviar of beluga-albino occasionally exported from Iran. 100 g of this caviar packed into an indispensable jar from pure gold, will cost for the buyer about 2 thousand dollars.

As is known, the most expensive mushroom in the world is a white truffle. It is impossible to set any exact price for kg of this delicacy, because almost each big mushroom is sold by auction. Sometimes it does not do good neither to buyers, nor the goods. So, in 2004 850 g mushroom bought for 28 thousand pounds sterling … has simply become rotten. The inconsolable buyer has dug it in the garden hoping to see a new giant, but subsequently has handed the remains home to Tuscany.

It would seem, the ordinary potato cannot cost transcendental thousand! But…. The resourceful peasants from Nurmountie Island annually gather about 100 tons of “La Bonnotte” potato. As the divine tuber is extremely gentle, it can be gathered only by hands. World’s most expensive potato costs about 500 euros for a kg.
