The most expensive dessert in the world is forbidden because of cockroaches
Representatives of Guinness Book of Records had not time to register the famous New York dessert for 25 thousand dollars as the most expensive in the world, as sanitary inspection experts have found out, that all sanitary norms are broken in the cafe.
The New York restaurant offering dessert Frozen Haute Chokolade for record $25 thousands, has been forced to be closed temporarily because of mice and insects. According to city’s Department of public health, the institution located in Manhattan, could not pass sanitary inspection. The report of inspectors says about mice, flies and cockroaches.
The most expensive cake has appeared in the menu of a restaurant not so long ago. Head-cook Stephen Bruce needed a lot of time to create it. “Only development of a spoon has taken three months”.
Gold spoon, decorated with white and brown diamonds, is a precious accessory to the precious dessert. Ice-cream contains 5,7 g of edible 23-carat gold, and it served in the glass with a sheet of gold, also edible. The basis of a glass is decorated with a bracelet from 18-carat gold with inserts from white diamonds. The dessert is decorated with whipped cream, and “watered” with edible gold and chocolate from Kripschildt Chocolatier (2600 dollars for 500 g of such chocolate).
It was supposed, that when all culinary components of a dessert have been eaten, the rest jewelry can be taken away together with a spoon.
