The most expensive hobby

Recently any collecting in our country was limited to definite list of subjects.
The new times, the new people, the new opportunities and new hobbies. Some collect automobiles, the few collect real estate. This kind of collecting demands absolute professionalism and certain welfare. But, perhaps, the most difficult kind of “collecting” demanding huge money and a profound knowledge in other areas is wine collecting. This hobby was born at the end of XIX century, and earlier it had been an integral part of mode of life of the certain layer of the society.
Widespread in the West, this kind of hobby has transformed there into a special, safe kind of money investment. If there is the necessary knowledge, certain taste, sufficient culture and just a bit intuition - the annual gain of your wine investment may ten times exceed your bank investments.
To make collecting profitable, people buy such wines which after bottling continue to live.
Other matter - wines which become better while kept. The more they are stored, the more refined they become. And their rise of price is quite natural.
